Fit & Fun After 50!Fit & Fun After 50! – Low Impact Aerobics After a good warm-up, we do low impact aerobics for approx 30 minutes. Fitness levels 1, 2 and 3 are demonstrated so you can choose which one is right for you. The 2nd part of class is devoted to strength training (using hand weights and elastic bands) and stretching. From 10:45am-11: 00am, we focus on various stress release practices such as meditation, qi-gong, breathing, stretching, and energy therapies. There is no mat work in this class. All of the exercises are done standing or sitting in a chair. (On the first Friday and third Monday of each month, from 10:40-11am, we do fun beginner line dances for those class members who want to join us.)
