Line Dancing

Youthful Hearts Seniors line dance

Youthful Hearts Line Dancing For All Levels, Men & Women After 50
Youthful Hearts Senior Line Dance 2
Enjoy a fabulous mind-body workout while dancing your way to better health!  You’ll boost your brain power by improving your memory skills, strengthen your
bones without hurting your joints, develop better balance to help prevent falls and release stress so you feel great.

This line dancing class can be done by itself or as a supplement to Fit and Fun or Still Going Strong. We dance to a wide mix of music styles, including country, pop and big band.  No advanced dances are done in this medium-paced class. Come meet some great people and breathe new life into your soul! (Wear soft-soled shoes.)  Are you a beginner? If you need a shorter class, you may take the first half of class for a $5 drop-in fee.

Line Dance Video Demo
Below is a video clip of a line dance class demo that I taught at the “Let’s Move, Novato! event on May 14, 2011. This event was for all ages, put on by Novato Parks, Recreation and Community Services, to encourage exercise for better health. This video demo gives a taste of what my line dance classes are like. Come join us!

Here’s another snippet of an actual class held at Margaret Todd Center on June 12, 2014. The dance we’re doing in this video is a beginner level dance called Sunshine Express: Click here to see video: Youthful Hearts Line Dancing Live Class
