On Aug 5, 2017, I was in my backyard making a short stretch video clip for a senior client and was delightfully surprised by a very special visitor. Watch me demonstrate the Sphinx pose, a great basic yoga stretch for those 50+ who want to improve their posture and uplift their spirit. Look closely and you will see my new hummingbird friend. Wow, I needed this amazing spirit animal magic today!

“The hummingbird symbolizes joy and playfulness, as well as adaptability, lightness of being, independence, lifting up negativity, ability to respond quickly and resilience.” ~Elena Harris.

Sphinx Pose is suitable for those with wrist pain, injuries, or carpal tunnel syndrome. Since Sphinx is performed on the forearms, it takes the pressure off the wrists while providing many benefits. It is a great way to offset a long day of sitting. It also opens your heart and uplifts your spirit!

"After being in Jeanette's class, for only a very short time, I no longer have a shoulder pain that I thought was the end of my golfing. I also feel stronger, and have better posture and fuller breathing."
