Astonishing 75 Yr. Old Salsa Dancer

One of our Youthful Hearts class members shared this video with me and I just had to post it. I couldn’t believe it. Wow, Sarah Paddy Jones at age 75 is an inspiration for sure! She puts the sassy in senior living.  (Just like a lot of the spunky seniors in my classes!) Watch this video for some quality entertainment.

Please note: (This YouTube video is labeled incorrectly here. It’s a case of mistaken identity. Ginger Rogers was a great dancer, but she passed away in 1995.)

Ms. Sarah Paddy Jones holds a guinness world record for being the oldest lady dancer in Salsa Acrobatica.  She’s been dancing since she was 2 ½ years old. About a year after her husband, David, died she felt drawn to learn something new, so she started learning Salsa Acrobatic. In December 2009, she and her partner, Nicko, took first prize on the Spanish TV talent show Tu Si Que Vales.

Did you enjoy the video? I bet it put a smile on your face!
